My name is Gary and having passed 70 years old I am giving up snow shoveling and other winter fun in order to spend some time in my wifes homeland while we are still young enough to enjoy what Thailand has to offer.

No visa is required for US citizens to stay in Thailand for up to 30 days.
Round Trip from Michigan is approx $1500/person
Daily expenses including hotel start around $50
Seniors (over 50 yrs old) can apply for a 10 year Retirement visa for longer stays
For longer stays, monthly rentals such as YooperNet HQ start around $200/month including utilities and A/C
Here's some photos at Wat Bang Bo, where the Abbot is 104 years old and still receives visitors. Noi's Mom and an Aunt has her ashes stored there, we went to pay respects and sponsor a memorial ritual shortly after we arrived in mid-November.
